Publix GreenWise comes to Coral Springs

Publix is expanding its GreenWise line of retail food chains to Coral Springs, becoming one of five locations in the state when it opens in 2009.

The GreenWise market will serve as an upscale shopping destination for consumers looking for healthy, natural and organic food choices. But GreenWise is more than a supermarket - it's a shopping experience complete with made-to-order meals, a cafe serving coffee and smoothies, and a wireless Internet connection floating through the store.

When it opens, the Coral Springs GreenWise will be the chain's only store in Broward County.
